Who we are

The KYOCERA AVX Components (Betzdorf) GmbH is a specialist in the development and production of customer-specific connectors. Founded in 1964, the company has been successful in the automotive industry since 1990. It belongs to the Interconnect division of the KYOCERA AVX group and operates additional production sites in Betzdorf, Bzenec (Czech Republic), and Steineroth.

The manufacturing is fully automated and includes an extensive process chain: from development through tool-making, automation, the punch shop and electroplating to injection moulding and assembly. Additionally, all products are monitored with state-of-the-art camera surveillance and various testing facilities to meet the high demands of the automotive industry and to deliver high quality to our customers.

High-pole connectors

Sensor housing

... are specially designed casings that protect sensors from external influences such as dust, moisture, or mechanical damage. They ensure that the sensitive sensors work reliably and transmit their measurement data correctly. Such casings are used in many areas, such as automation technology, medical technology, or vehicle technology. 

Mechatronic Components

... combine mechanical, electronic, and information technology elements. They are indispensable in modern systems such as robots, automated machines, and vehicle technologies. Industrial Business Management Assistants
(m/f/d)

You will get to know commercial processes such as purchasing, sales, accounting, and human resource management. You plan, negotiate, and organise in various departments, becoming a crucial link in the company.

Mechatronics Engineer
(m/f/d)

You're learning to combine mechanics, electronics, and information technology. This equips you with the ability to install, maintain, and repair our machines and systems. In doing so, you develop technical solutions and ensure smooth operations in our manufacturing.

Tool Mechanic (m/f/d)

You manufacture highly precise tools and moulds for the industry, maintain and repair them. You learn how to handle modern machines, such as CNC milling, process different materials and accurately implement technical drawings.

Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d)

As an industrial mechanic, you are responsible for the production, maintenance, and repair of machines and production systems. You learn to read technical drawings, handle machine tools and assemble as well as disassemble subassemblies.

Specialist for Warehouse Logistics (m/f/d)

You accept goods, check deliveries for completeness and quality, and ensure their proper storage. In doing so, you plan and optimise storage processes, compile goods for shipment, and coordinate deliveries. 

IT Systems Integration Specialist (m/f/d)

You're learning to plan, install, and maintain IT systems. You're setting up networks, setting up servers and computers and making sure that the IT infrastructure runs smoothly. The task of diagnosing and rectifying errors also falls under your domain. 

Technical Product Designer (m/f/d)

You are learning to create detailed drawings and 3D models for products and components. In doing so, you plan constructions, work closely with engineers, and take into account both technical and design requirements.

To gain practical experience in the work area during your studies, we primarily offer compulsory internships prescribed by the study regulations.
Here we prefer both economic and technical courses of study such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science and industrial engineering.

As a rule, internships are paid at KYOCERA AVX.
